What To Expect
This full-day tour begins with pickup from your hotel in District 1, or if you choose the VIP option District 3 and 4. Then drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, located in the countryside where you can see rice paddies along the road and ducks and water buffalo swimming in rivers. Stretching more than 120 miles (200 km), the tunnel network was used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War for hiding, communication, storage, medical care, and more. As you explore the site, you can see remnants of battle and try to imagine this now tranquil area as a war zone. You also visit a nearby rubber plantation. When your time is up, you'll be returned to Ho Chi Minh City for hotel drop-off to end your tour.
Cu Chi Tunnels
We will be visiting the Ben Duoc tunnel of Cu Chi Tunnels where fewer visitors coming so you will have a more authentic experience of Cu Chi Tunnels. The tour starts at around 7:45am with a pickup from central hotels in District 1, Ho Chi Minh city then head to Cu Chi Tunnels, enjoy the scenery along the road where you might see rice paddies, ducks and water buffalo swimming in rivers. After 2-hour car ride, we arrive the tunnels. We will watch a short documentary film that takes you to the past with an introduction of the Cu Chi Tunnels. Crawl short distances through the tunnels that were used by the guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam War. You may see a kitchen, living quarters, and a meeting room on the way. Learn about how different types traps were created and set up. Visit the weapons room and learn how the ingenious Viet Cong soldiers made them. You can also try your hand at the shooting range with an AK-47. Tour ends at around 3:00PM
